庄乾兴,男,南通大学医学院生理学教研室教授、生理学教研室副主任(主持工作)。主要从事神经生物学和生理学的教学和研究工作,研究领域为运动控制的神经环路及其行为学。主持国家自然科学基金和各类省部级科研基金项目3项,其中包括:国家自然科学基金面上项目1项、江苏省自然科学基金面上项目1项、中央高校基本科研业务费项目1项。已在国内外学术刊物上发表研究论文18篇,综述2篇,发表国际和国内会议论文摘要32篇。

研究领域

运动控制的神经环路及其行为学:

  动物的运动行为受到来自大脑皮层运动区、脑干和脊髓的等级性控制,不同等级的神经结构内部有存在相对独立而各有分工的平行性关系。动物行为的等级性和平行性控制的基础是对神经元乃至神经环路活动的支配和调节。理解动物运动行为的神经环路机制是系统神经科学的终极挑战之一。我们综合利用免疫组织化学技术、单细胞qPCR技术、单细胞电生理记录、清醒动物在体多通道电生理记录、脑内微透析技术、在体光纤记录、CRISPR/Cas9基因编辑、光遗传/化学遗传操控、神经环路示踪、脑内长时程微量给药技术以及动物行为学研究等技术深入研究神经元乃至神经环路活动与动物运动行为之间的关系。我们的研究目标是从分子-神经元/胶质细胞-神经环路-动物行为学水平阐述动物运动行为的神经机制,进而揭示这些运动行为机制在运动疾病中的作用及功能意义。
